I've read three of the books on your list (I think, can't make out the title of one or two). I loved Jemima J and Little Women but really didn't get on well with Wuthering Heights; I've been enjoying classics over the last year or so but that's one which just confused me and I found hard going. Before Green Gables is a book I'm a bit ambivalent about reading - I loved the Anne books when I read them as a child and teen and would love to revisit them. But a prequel I'm not sure about. Would be interested to hear what you think. If you've never read LM Montgomery's Emily books they are really worth the time and in my opinion are better than Anne.
