If you are in the mood to have your heart broke into tiny pieces, and the sick discomfort of how disgusting the nazis treated the jews, then watch this movie. Those times should never be forgotten or overlooked, because us humans are capable of far more unspeakable horrors, and hardenings of our hearts, than most of us care to remember in this rat race we call present day. I have not read the book, nor do I know if I am able, because books are usually more powerful than the movies, and the movie killed me.
