This time last year the book blogging community lost one of its most prolific and much-loved members when Dewey passed away. To commemorate her memory, and to encourage us all to ‘give something back’ Lisa Roe from the Online Publicist has created a donation project – and called it The Dewey Tree in her honour.

Every year the Richard and Judy Book Club introduces readers to some great books and authors – and the infamous TV duo have just announced their Summer Reads for 2009. There are eight books in the list ranging from word-of-mouth hits to virtually unknown authors. My TBR pile has taken on a growth spurt in the last couple of weeks – so much for me trying to reduce it! It has helped me decide on which books to read next though. In no particular order these are the books I’ll be reading and reviewing between now and the end of the year:
