@Ramya – I was having the same feeling – though I’m really enjoying Anne’s House of Dreams and think Montgomery has returned to form in this one.

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to be disappointed with this one – but thanks to Twiga it sounds like there is more of the Anne we know and love around the bend in the road. Anne of the Island is next on my list

I haven't read the Anne books recently, but I am remember skimming a lot of this one when I did. There were just too many people I didn't care about, and not enough of the familiar faces I loved. Nicoles last blog post..Foe, J.M. Coetzee

Yeah, this book was probably my least favorite out of the whole series. It just wasn’t that interesting. I think my favorite is probably either Anne of the Island or Rilla of Ingleside.
