Why did you choose to read this book?
Having just spent several hours on a roller coaster ride with Stephanie Meyer’s Breaking Dawn I thought I’d choose a slightly shorter and more familiar read for my next book. Anne of Windy Willows (or Anne of Windy Poplars if you’re in the USA) is the fourth book in the series about Anne Shirly – the red-headed orphan from Prince Edward Island. This book sees Anne take up a new post as Principal of Summerside High School where she must outface the dreaded Pringle clan. I’m also looking forward to the budding romance between Anne and the handsome Gilbert Blythe *sigh*
