Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer

It finally arrived – my copy of Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer – and I can’t quite believe how much it resembles a brick! I’m dying to get stuck in – but I’m in a bit of a quandry. I have a four hour train journey on Monday – which will be the perfect time to read this – so I’m worried that if I start reading it now I’ll race my way through it and not have four hours worth of reading left! I’m not carrying that dead weight all the way to Birmingham and back with only a few pages left *lol*

Maybe I’ll have a sneak peek later…

[Editor's Note] I’ve finished the book – and it sure was a roller coaster ride! You can read my review of Breaking Dawn here

Book Review | A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini

Hosseini once again weaves a masterpiece; set against the monstrosities of war is the tale of a mother daughter relationship which shows that love and hope will out in the end.

  1. Mrs S says:

This really was a book that needed to be read in as few sittings as possible – personally I enjoyed it – but I can see why lots of people were disappointed.

  2. Well, you’ve probably finished it already. I started reading it at 7am in the morning and finished at about midnight. I did run a few errands, go to the farmers market , and take care of my kids. So pretty much off and on all day.
