Sunday Salon | A facelift and a giveaway
Hello Saloners, it’s a lovely sunny day here so thanks for stopping by for a visit.
Its been a busy week; I’ve started a new job so haven’t had much time for reading unfortunately – but I have managed to finish up 26a and start The we Came to the End – so all is not lost
I spent most of yesterday trying to find a new wordpress theme for my Disney World planning site and nearly drove myself crazy – then today, thanks to the Salon, I find that Danica was also giving her site a facelift and recommended a great site where I picked up this new template – and added it to my other site too. I still need to do some tweaking – but I’m very happy with my new homes!
- Yesterday was the first Weekly Geeks challenge – and I discovered 5 new bloggers – stop by yesterday’s post to see who they were
- This week I finished reading 26a by Diana Evans – I’ve decided to raffle off my copy of the book – so if you haven’t entered already be sure to stop by the review and post a comment – closing date is April 31
And now I must leave you as I’m developing a headache and don’t want it to spoil my Sunday – need to step away from the computer! Do stay a while and explore – and I look forward to seeing y’all next Sunday.

Sunday Salon | Body Surfing by Anita Shreve
Sunday afternoons are made for reading – especially on a day like today when the weather is dark and dreary and all you want to do is curl up on the sofa with a good book. I’ve spent quite a lot of Sunday afternoons this way this winter – it’s been so dark and depressing.Today [...]

Sunday Salon | The best laid plans…
Hello fellow saloners – I wasn’t sure I’d actually be able to post today – I updated my websites last night to WordPress 2.5 and managed to break them… so today, instead of working through my to do list, catching up with saloners, and reading my latest book I’ve spent about 7 hours trying to [...]

Hooray more positive votes for the new look
@Ravenous Reader – Disney World is my home away from home too! Unfortunately we don’t have another trip planned until November 09 (we’re taking a year off!) but I write a blog about trip planning so I don’t get too homesick
I like your new template! Did I read you’re planning a trip to Disney World? That’s my home away from home

Hey girls – thanks for stopping by. I’m glad you like the new theme – although for some reason it doesn’t know I’m me when I try to leave a comment! Very odd!
Danica – I did love those cute little pics – I’m sure you could figure it out if you had a play
I love the new theme! It’s cute and simple. I hope you have a great week.

is this not the cutest theme ever? i love the ladybug!
my favorite is the one she’s using, which i guess is a modification of one of her themes. I spent some time trying to get mine to look like hers, but then I got frustrated and found one that worked better for me. but someday I expect I will get the one up that has teeny adorable photos in it!

Hope you get to feeling better. I’m the opposite. I get headaches if I am away from the computer too long.
26a is high on my reading list so I must pop by your review and see what you thought of it.
