@jnnu – I was shocked about the number of endangered species too – it may be a children’s book but it taught me a thing or two!

As the kitten is directed from big cat to big cat, readers learn important information about each of these animals by way of illustrated signs; details include size, life span, litter size and status. I was quite shocked to discover that all of the big cats mentioned including tigers, lions, cheetahs and bobcats are all endangered .
