Book Review Policy

About Me

I am a thirty-something book lover currently living in the South-West of England. I love to read almost anything Fiction and I’m a glutton for punishment for books with beautiful covers!

Book Blogging Resume

I started book blogging back in January of 2008 and since then I have reviewed more than 150 books. Blue Archipelago Reviews has an average of 8,000 unique visitors each month. More than 240 people subscribe to my RSS feed.

Review Copy Formats

I am happy to read review copies in the following formats:

Galley
ARC
Finished Copy (Hardback or Paperback)
eBook (Kindle compatible format)

Review Genres Accepted

My taste in books has expanded since I started Blue Archipelago Reviews and these days I’ll read almost anything. I prefer Fiction over Non-Fiction.

If your genre isn’t listed feel free to contact me anyway, you might be able to introduce me to something new!

Review Timescales

Please let me know the release date of your book, I will always endeavour to read and review it within two weeks of the release date. If there are reasons why I can’t meet the date (because there are other books in the review queue for example) then I will let you know when you can expect to see a review published.

I will post the review here at Blue Archipelago Reviews and also on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk. Links to my reviews here are published on Twitter and FaceBook.

Honest Review Policy

I have a duty to my readers to ensure that all reviews I post are honest; if I like your book then I will say so, but if I don’t like the book for any reason I will include those reasons in my review.
